Board Tracking System 2000 is designed to track boards between two locations using a high speed sprayer system and a computer based camera system. Five spots are sprayed within two feet on the board using four colors giving 1024 combinations. Codes 1000 to 1024 are used as error codes, leaving 0 to 999 for board tracking. The maximum number of boards between the sprayer and the camera is 1000.
Board Tracking System 2000 is primarily designed to read sprayed marks and to generate tally reports. However, there is also another feature that may be used. The system can transfer board data on a per board basis to a file, through a serial port or through a network for further off-line processing of the data.
Board Tracking System 2000 is built around a PC. The input and output circuits are all OPTO 22, assuring easy access to service and spare parts during the life span of the system. Operator and maintenance training are greatly simplified if mill personnel are familiar with the PC standard.
Customized versions of this system are available if the Board Tracking System 2000 specifications do not meet the requirements of a specific installation.
